  • Take a train from Howrah Junction to Kumardubi. There are 4 trains that stops at Kumardubi, they are:
  • Jammu Tawi Express - 13151
  • Shaktipunj Express - 11448
  • Blackdiamond Express - 22387
  • Coal Field Express - 12339

The journey takes around 3 to 4 hours. After reaching Kumardubi, book a Cab/Auto to Garpanchkot. The distance from Kumardubi railway station to Garpanchkot is 24.4 km (53 min) via Purulia - Barakar Rd.


By Road

The distance between Kolkata and Garpanchkot is 250.3 km (5 hr 29 min) via NH19 and AH1. Depending on the road traffic, time may differ. This is for customized tour. If you wish, you can opt for AC Volvo Bus service from Esplanade to Asansol. From Asanasol you can hire a Cab/Auto to reach your resort. The distance between Asansol to Garpanchkot is approx 35km and it takes around 1.30hrs.

DAY 1 : Kolkata to Garpanchkot [5 hr 25 min (250.3 km) via NH19]
Your journey for Garpanchkot starts from Kolkata. You can either opt for AC Volvo Bus from Esplanade or Asansol Intercity Express from Sealdah Station, Blackdiamond Express from Howrah Station etc. There are lots of train depart for Asansol from Howrah Station. Board any of them as per your preferences and come to Asansol. We will pick you up from there. DAY 2 : Garpanchkot Full Day Sightseeing

Then visit Birinchi Mandir, Murardi Dam. You can visit Baranti – a happening tourist spot beside Baranti Lake. Behold the amazing sunset from the Baranti Hill, we bet you have never seen any sunset in your life that you can experience from Baranti. Spend some quality time there, enjoy the serenity. Return back to Resort. Spend your time in leisure, take dinner and go for tight sleep.


DAY 3 : Return Journey
"Goodbyes are always difficult". With the arrival of the morning, at the doorstep, it's time to sign off from this beautiful place with bag full of sweet memories. After the sumptuous breakfast, spend some quality time in the vicinity around resort and start your retune journey onwards Kolkata. On the way visit Chinnamasta Temple. With a tea break on the way, return safe to Kolkata. Your Garpanchkot tour ends with sweet memory.
