  • PAP or Protected Area Permit can be obtained from Tourism Office in Gangtok / District Administrative Center at Mangan / Sub-Divisional Magistrate's Office at Chungthang.
  • Due to sub zero temperature adequate warm cloth is a must for Zero Point Tour.
  • Travellers can rent pair of snow boots, gloves and overcoats at Zero Point with extra pay (Approx Rs.100).
  • Please carry enough cash for Zero Point Tour as there is no ATM.
  • Only Sikkim Government registered vehicles are allowed to travel Zero Point.
  • The best time to travel Zero Point is between April to June.
